A very useful tip. Thank you for posting this. But it is a real tragedy that we do not have a travel agent in Denver for trips to Inda. Most of us use travel agents from cities like Atlanta or NJ. I think it would be better if somebody can post some travel agents information as well. So it can be used at least as a starting point when you are making a reservation to India.
Another tip would be when booking a ticket using your bank debit card please make sure you have notifed the bank about the large transaction coming in. Most of the banks automatically limit your deduction to something like 500 or 1000 dollars and when the travel agent runs it through, the transaction will get rejected.
